@free_oscillator@amicusadastra Yes, I think evangelicalism and protestantism in general are so rooted in print culture/modernity that they feel like they're dying. Interestingly it's the immersive/aural traditions that are growing: charismatic/Pentecostal/liturgical etc

@amicusadastra I've always thought that Wes Anderson would make an excellent McLuhan movie. I was so convinced that it was an unavoidable combo and felt sure the only reason Anderson hadn't done it must be because it hadn't occurred to him.
