At least 12 Orthodox Christians were killed in Ethiopia’s Arsi Zone after a wave of attacks devastated several Christian communities.

Families were forced from their homes, properties were burned, and more than 280 people were reportedly displaced.

One of the most heartbreaking losses was the 101-year-old Telata St. Gabriel Church, a historic place of worship that was burned to the ground. For generations, that church stood as a witness of faith, prayer, and Christian identity in the region.

Nigeria: 36 students still missing after Muslims stormed school in Christian area, murdered two teachers

If these students are not rescued or ransomed, the boys will be forced to become slave laborers or forcibly converted to Islam and folded into the jihadi forces. The girls will be sold as sex slaves. All of this is in accord with Islamic law, which is why we see Muslim forces engaging in kidnapping and sex slavery in countries other than Nigeria. Yet in the West, no mainstream analyst dares discuss what is at the root of the problem here.

Thirteen years old. A child. Brutalised by 32 men. She fought for her life… and today, she lost that battle.
How do you even process this? What kind of monsters do this? What kind of society allows it to happen?
These men deserve nothing less than capital punishment. Crimes of this brutality against a child demand the strongest punishment our justice system provides.
She should have been worrying about school, friends, and dreams—not fighting for her life.

I’m angry. I’m heartbroken. And I’m ashamed that we keep failing our daughters.
