Here's our monthly update #3 for August, and you can expect some more announcements in the next month:
Technical
We are reaching the final stages of implementing Qubitcoin’s second computational task. The node’s verification and RPC capabilities have now been implemented, alongside additional features for SuperDense Consensus and expanded testing coverage.
Development of the reference miner for the second task is also nearing completion. From a technical perspective, the next major milestone will be preparing for the testnet launch, where the new task can be tested and observed in a live network environment.
More information, including details of the task itself and the scientific principles behind it, will be shared in upcoming announcements as we move closer to its testnet launch.
Executive
On the executive and community side, we hosted our first AMA with Dmitrii, moderated by Sparta. We hope the session gave the community a better understanding of the project, the team, and where Qubitcoin is headed.
The team has also been working on a new community growth initiative designed to strengthen Qubitcoin’s outreach, engagement, and community operations as we enter the next stage of the project. We expect these efforts to become more visible alongside the launch of the new task and the upcoming testnet.
Two weeks ago, on the 632nm podcast, we released an interview with @QuantumQM co-founder and CTO Yonatan Cohen.
We discussed the future of quantum computing and the classical compute infrastructure needed to orchestrate quantum gates, enable fast system calibration, and perform real-time quantum error correction.
The emerging vision is clear: quantum computers will be tightly integrated with CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, ASICs.
At Qubitcoin, we are working toward a big goal of building a useful blockchain that enables and incentivizes useful quantum computing.

Monthly update #2:
Technical
Last month, we reported that our second quantum proof-of-work task prototype was functioning as intended. However, block-verification performance remained the main obstacle to integrating the task into the network’s current architecture.
Over the past month, we made significant progress in addressing this verification bottleneck. We revised the task specification to improve verification performance while preserving the underlying quantum-computation problem at the core of the task. As the result, the versification time was reduce by more than 2 orders of magnitude. The revised specification is now undergoing further testing and benchmarking to evaluate its performance and stability. Intermediate results have been promising, and we will continue refining the specification based on the results of these tests.
Executive
After contributing to Qubitcoin for more than six months, Dmitrii officially joined the developer team last month and was introduced to the community. We are pleased to welcome him as we continue expanding the team.
We also remain in discussions with several venture-capital investors about potential funding to support the project’s growth over the coming year. Because these discussions are ongoing, we are not yet able to provide further details. We look forward to sharing more information when appropriate.

This marks an important milestone in the continued development of the Qubitcoin ecosystem.

We are excited to share our monthly progress update. This is the first comprehensive update of this type that we are publishing, so feel free to let us know how we can adjust the format in the future.
Technical
We previously announced that the first draft of the specification for our second PoW task was finalized. This task is based on the fundamental problem of quantum compilation, which is essentially concerned with changing the particular sequence of quantum gates that a circuit consists of in order to make it cheaper or more reliable to run on real quantum hardware. Quantum compilation continues to be an area of active research, and the ability to perform it well and quickly will be vital to the development of quantum software in the future. This makes it a perfect problem to be at the core of our new blockchain task, as was outlined in our previous update.
During the last month, we implemented a fully working prototype for the mining and verification procedures associated with the task in its current specification and conducted extensive testing and benchmarking on that prototype. While the task concept itself proved to be viable and produced valuable data in block solutions, we encountered issues when trying to reduce the block verification time to a level suitable for the current network structure. Due to this, our research team is currently exploring ways to alter the task specification to mitigate this problem while keeping the core problem of quantum computation at its heart.
Executive
Throughout the last two months, our team has been in talks with several venture capital investors regarding potential funding for the team's expansion over the course of the next year. Due to the ongoing nature of these talks, the team decided not to share any additional information until the matter concludes in the coming months. Please be assured that we will share more updates with you as soon as we can.

Richard Feynman presents his paper, “Simulating Physics with Computers”, at the first Physics and Computation Conference.
The paper would become one of the foundational works of quantum computing.
Feynman posed a bold question:
Why can’t we simulate quantum systems efficiently on classical computers?
His conclusion was radical:
If nature is quantum mechanical, perhaps the best way to simulate it is with quantum machines themselves.
More than four decades later, that challenge remains.
And fittingly, the story continues where it began: MIT.

It can be close it can be a bit further away but it will happen.
There is no other team that is this connected to quantum giants like @GoogleQuantumAI and @nvidia.
Our founder/the founder (@MYShalaginov) of $QTC is lead at Quera a quantum company funded by @nvidia and @GoogleQuantumAI with 200 million dollars.
@qubitcoinx is still in early stages but if one thing is almost certain is it that the connections to Google and Nividia are there.
I mean a google or Nividia fund will absolute skyrocket the price of @qubitcoinx and I believe one day it will get the grants but what counts now is the connections.
Another great connection is our advisor @caoyudong, he’s lead at @BCG the Boston consultancy group is worth billions and a connection to @qubitcoinx. A man can dream but what if those companies start investing in $QTC?
Another great one is our other advisor Dubrosky known for advising Kaspa daglabs in early days. Kaspa as a crypto project also a POW grew to billions in the bear market. Now dubrovsky advises @qubitcoinx on the QPOW side.

@qubitcoinx lead by @MYShalaginov one of the top scientists in quantum over the whole world. Talking with the highest quantum engineers.
@qubitcoinx extremely well connected, connected to @GoogleQuantumAI@IonQ_Inc@nividia and many more big companies. Als @MYShalaginov is quantum machine build lead at @QueraComputing and Quera is worth around 5 billion dollars. They collected in 2025 250 million from @GoogleQuantumAI.
@MYShalaginov also co owner of @632nmPodcast with over 10k subs and have podcasted the greatest and highest peeps in quantum and business.
The connections are easy to make here if you read all above, @MYShalaginov so close to @GoogleQuantumAI and other big quantum giants that in the future @qubitcoinx might get some vc investments or other stuff like that aswell.
Not to forget the project advised by the incredible Dubrovsky that was an early contributor/advisor to kaspa:native.

Yudong cao also an advisor of qubitcoin-2:native and got a high function in a billion dollar company and is top quantum scientist with an incredible back story.
It’s so early. Everything under 100$ is very misspriced.
Chartwise, it’s up from the bottom and it seems we’re in for a rally. Good strength compared to bitcoin:native
