@AppleTV , okay, I'm watching your display default on Android or whatever, where it's just flashing Apple TV across the screen. Okay come on, you have every opportunity to make it like the DVD logo screen. Why not? Come on you used to be the cool company. Please be the cool company again.
Hey @SouthwestAir! How do I praise your flight attendant crew? I know most people here complain...and sometimes I do too...but I know the crew sometimes needs positive praises...so...how?
Hey @Airtable...get ready for a storm...not now...but...I feel a storms a brewing...
Contact me if you would like to manage the damage. Enough is enough. Who is more important...your shareholders or your users?
Last week: @Airtable goes down. Users report it before the company even admits thereโs an issue. ๐ฉ
This week: Internal meetings focus on "making more money" rather than infrastructure or transparency. ๐ฉ
When growth pressure outpaces reliability, the users are the ones who pay. Whoโs actually steering the ship? The company or its shareholders?๐ขโ๏ธ
Guess what? The captain of this ship is changing the ways to an airtable exit.
So long and thanks for all the fish.

Did friday the 13th last week forget that it was Friday the 13th? Cause a lot of weird crap has gone down today, one week later. From airtable melting, to the possibility of aliens being real, and to seeing my first ever SPAM commercial....yes that @SPAMbrand im pretty convinced today is actually Firday the 13th in spirit. #freakyfriday
You can transfer via csv, but i use the api/n8n, as the automations are not the best for robustness. We've been paying for 30 users for almost 5 years now. I have learned my lesson in not having a backup. If you go opensource look up Airtable alternatives open source, you might find something for free that fits your needs.
To be honest right now? No clue, reeling in from my email automations entering Vegas Slot Machine mode...Top contenders are Baserow, Grist, and Teable from my initial researching. But may end up creating my own proprietary since the tools are now at our fingertips to build beyond one person's time/abilities.
Well if this isn't a time to consider dropping ship, I don't know what is. We've been gladly using Airtable since 2020. But for the amount of users they serve, and the amount of times this service has gone down. It's time to go. #airtable#timetogoopensource#selfhosted@airtablestatus@airtable
And not even a simple post to say hey we're working on it. Troubling times in my opinion. And don't give me, oh check our status page. I have and its way less personable than you used to be.
