Désormais, au milieu d’un cours, l’app peut te demander de fermer le cours et d’expliquer oralement, avec tes propres mots, ce que tu viens de comprendre.

Une approche inspirée de la métacognition et du rappel actif : lire, c’est bien. Être capable d’expliquer sans regarder, c’est là qu’on commence vraiment à apprendre.

Voir 𝟳𝟴𝟳 𝗷𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘀 choisir de consacrer une partie de leurs vacances à apprendre, progresser et se préparer à la rentrée est une vraie satisfaction.

La 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻é𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗹’𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 est venue clôturer cette première édition des 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀, portée par 𝗭𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂 et la Nouvelle Dynamique du Cameroun, sous le parrainage de Maître 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘂, Maire de Douala II.

Pendant près d’un mois, 𝟱𝟬 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 ont accompagné ces jeunes dans leur apprentissage, leur discipline et leur formation citoyenne.

Cette journée a aussi été l’occasion de récompenser l’excellence. J’ai eu le plaisir de remettre le 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘅 𝘀𝗽é𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁 à la jeune 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗳, admise au baccalauréat avec une remarquable moyenne de 𝟭𝟲,𝟴𝟬/𝟮𝟬.

Au total, 𝟱 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 et du matériel didactique ont également été distribués à près de 𝟭 𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀.

Heureux d’avoir contribué à cette dynamique et d’encourager une jeunesse qui fait le choix de 𝗹’𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗱𝗲 𝗹’𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁é.

It took me a full year before I could even get my first payout from a prop account.‼️

One of the hardest stages of any journey is when your growth is obvious to you, but completely invisible in your results.

You’re putting in more work than ever.

You’re learning everyday.
Making fewer mistakes.
Understanding things today that used to confuse you completely.

But somehow, your life still looks almost the same.

No major breakthrough.
No big result.
Nothing impressive enough to point at and say, “This is what all the work produced.”

That stage can really mess with your head.

Because after a while, you start asking yourself if all this effort is actually taking you anywhere.

Then one day, something finally clicks.

And people think you suddenly became good.

But you know the truth?

It wasn’t that day that made you good.

It was all those months and years when nobody could see the progress.
The mistakes you stopped making.
The things you finally understood.
The discipline you slowly built.
The times you kept going without anything to show for it.

I’ve learnt that progress can remain quiet for a very long time.

Then suddenly, the results become very loud.

So if you’ve been trying for what feels like forever, but you can genuinely say you’re better than the person who started, don’t disrespect that progress simply because the reward hasn’t caught up yet.

Sometimes, the result is just late to the work.

Keep going.

And if you’re currently in this stage where you know you’ve improved but the results still haven’t shown up yet, this is your reminder not to stop now.
