Viv/her directors talk about it in this audio commentary I wish I was joking (do Not go harass this person I just wanted to include the source of this quote)
it makes me so sad to see discourse like this because it makes me realize that there are actually people really only watch movies that are franchise installments or popular IP’s and not original stories
I can count the amount of people on both of my hands (ran out of fingers by this point) who have told me with a straight face, no hint of sarcasm, that the only film worth looking forward too this year is the Mario Galaxy Movie.
2026 is going to be a long year, I can feel it.
I have friends who watch exclusively animated films to things they know, the latest Marvel/DC film or adaptations to things they like (Minecraft, FNAF, Mario), and as soon as I bring up something like Sinners or Marty Supreme, they look at me like Brian Griffin on his deathbed.
They’re fucking movies. Take a chance on something new. Get out of your comfort zone. These films didn’t spawn out of nowhere. They got made. Maybe marketing didn’t get to you but hey there’s new things. Do your research. Watch trailers. See a goddamn movie.
Not to say you're wrong for only watching those sorts of movies, I can't stop you, but I assure you (and whoever else is reading this) that there's a whole world out there you're deliberately deciding to miss out on and I honestly believe you deserve better than what you have.
I'm going to need an extremely convincing sales pitch to start playing the games because I have all of them (excluding Kiwami 3) at this point, just haven't played them. I know the games are good but RGG has made it difficult to make me wanna give this series a chance.
I've yet to actually touch a Yakuza game but dude, Kiwami 3's whole existence is killing off any chance I have in wanting to give the series a look. I don't have much context in what happened with that game but my friends who love this series are absolutely despairing over this.
I wanted to finish this game when I first bought it but Chapter 3 being bugged beyond comprehension (whole cutscenes skipped and everything) prevented me from wanting to beat it so hopefully I can get back to finishing it without any issues like that happening again.
For the last couple months I've been seriously debating buying a copy of the game on Steam because the PS5 version is genuinely one of the most broken and bugged games I've ever played so I'm very happy to hear that we're finally gonna be up to date with the Steam release soon.
here's our setlist for 2026

- FREE SONGS coming to Arcade Mode every month, starting with PATCH 1.7
- PATCH 1.7 COMING VERY SOON with console / pc parity and fixes
- Arcade Mode Stages + Level Editor in the coming months

Pedophile rape lady, nigga who makes abysmal dogshit, and some random nigga hang out only to make the most shit thing ever bruh the most annoying white people are slobbering at this image
I genuinely wish I had footage to showcase this but I only found out a bunch of story content got glitched out and skipped after looking up a full playthrough of the game following another glitch I came across where a cutscene froze near the end of the chapter.
You know I was really enjoying UNBEATABLE until the game decided to glitch out so hard that it skipped a bunch of story content right near the end of Chapter 3.
Can't even restart the chapter, gotta delete my save and play through all of it again if I want to see it.
Fuck, now I wanna replay the TWEWY games again. If I wasn't already in the middle of playing Expedition 33 (and clearing out the rest of my backlog) I would drop whatever I'm doing right now and just do it because those games seriously only get better the more I think about them.
I remember when one of my friends introduced this series to me and I just haven't been the same person ever since. Genuinely two of the best RPGs I've ever played, and I'm annoyed it doesn't get that much recognition even after almost 20 years since the first game's release.
Like this may sound like the most crack headed idea I've ever come up with but right now I'm imagining that after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, after Jin has liberated the island, Senko just appears and confronts him on how nicely he treats the foxes and just daps him up like
Having played through the Ghost games (where you can visit fox dens and pet said foxes) and only now just started watching Senko-san (a show about a fox god) has made me realise that the crossover art with these two in it would go insanely hard.
Just want to let y'all know that if you guys had to deal with a four man squad of Egg Pawns last night in Crossworlds, yeah sorry about that. That was me and my mates lmao
