I really enjoyed chairing this panel at the 32nd Australian Institute for Professional Intelligence Officers’ (AIPIO) annual conferences (a fantastic event). Some amazing panelists and great questions from the audience.
I loved reading Gerry McKay’s vivid book on his experiences as an Australian Infantry Platoon Commander in Vietnam. I understand it is quite well known in Australia, but I would also commend it to a wider international audience.
Just bought this cigarette/card case to put my business cards in. Do any of my historian friends have any suggestions on which regiment ‘The Dukes’ might be referring to and who B.I.F. Might be?
