@PronouncedHare Great recommendations! I’ve read a lot but only Remains of the Day and Stoner in last year. Also finished Augustus by Williams which is even better.
@JDSafc2005@RamseySAFC If he’s doing well after 60 of course keep him on but same games he’s faltered a bit as game goes on. But I’d definitely start him.
@BNHWalker At this stage forecast looks pretty good. But Reform and Greens underperforming projection. Conservatives and even more so Labour doing better than predicted. Still a terrible result for Labour but could have been much worse.
@UnderTheLight73 I'd like to see an upgrade on Left-Back. No slight on Reinildo but he's only going to get older and a quality left-back who can produce goals and assists would add a lot. What options are out there? I'm thinking a young player who'll challenge Reinildo and then take his place.
@SAFCFANSVIEW This is why I’m skeptical of people saying Sadiki is worth huge figures. 0 goals and 1 assist all season. Yes, he’s great at what he does but to move into the Champions League tier he’ll need to add assists and goals to his game. He’s young though.
@UnderTheLight73 I think Isidor should start next game. Brobbey one goal in last 11 matches. Yes, his hold-up play is break but Isidor, Le Fee and Talbi excel at fast break counter-attacks.
@susie_dent I wish there was a word for the feeling when you wake up and think of everything you have to do today … and then realise it’s the weekend. The huge relief and an emotion that I think there isn’t an appropriate word for …
@UnderTheLight73 Only positive is doubt we’ll lose him now. Gone from top five of league to mid-league. I think his form will come back but seems to be lacking some confidence since injury.
@SAFCFANSVIEW The XGoT suggests Roefs is having a shocker - both last games. I’m sure he’ll be back to best in time but seems to be lacking confidence and stuck to line plus slow to move.
@UnderTheLight73 And then to think of the ones that have been disallowed as well. Man City corner (at end of '25). Leeds - free kick. Newcastle - corner. Shows prolonged weakness in defending this area and teams have cottoned onto this.
@UnderTheLight73 Also feel some of this is just natural mean reversion and the XG gods levelling things up. In this game the XG was 1.3 vs 0.67 i.e equivalent to a much closer result. We massively outperformed XG for most of season - was bound to catch up at some point.
