@CALASIKandEye Yes I have perfect knowledge of all of their ocular histories lol. You know what I mean. A YAG and some LASIK doesn’t future proof a cornea from changing with age unfortunately. I wish it did.

How stable are very long term results of modern cataract surgery? I imagine they should be great but our longest term data isn’t that long. #ophthalmology #optometry

@CALASIKandEye Change in corneal shape. Change from surgically induced astigmatism longer term. Change in IOL position over time. The eye continues to age and change annoyingly.

@CALASIKandEye Thanks for your thoughts. It’s not unusual to see a patient 20 years post cataract surgery where their result has drifted and they’re now in glasses again. It’ll be interesting to see if EDOF tech improves this in the future.
