My tweets are basically me yelling at the TV, please ignore them. A weird mix of fintech, pro-bike/scooter urbanism, Ohio State Football and Libertarianism.
UPDATE: A D.C. Board of Elections spokesperson tells me there are still lines at eight voting centers in D.C., so results won't be released until those are cleared.
There are two reasons why DC is the most walkable, best quality of life city in America to raise a family in the urban core. First, the Height act makes neighborhoods walkable, second is that charter schools, even if you don’t ever attend them, make public schools much better.
And that’s why it’s really really important we need to make them walkable for families … especially families with little kids.
So people don’t move out of those places.
@charlesallen I talked to your office (did not get a name of who I talked to) last week about getting the drain at Ludlow snaked/drained, so it would not be a mosquito breeding ground. Hopefully they have some success with DC WASA.

It was bigger than a game, and the game itself lived up to the hype.
@johnarnold@MarkLutter The problem with term limits is that they get rid of the good members and bad members at the same rate. And there are actually more good ones than bad ones. Term limits just transfer power to party bosses and interest groups who transcend the limits.
Zero out taxes for the bottom half of earners. A nurse in Queens shouldn’t be sending money to Washington. Washington should be sending her an apology.
@shagbark_hick Great catholic college in Steubenville. Lots of super cheap housing, but still a decent amount of human capital left over from the steel mill days. I think it would be a good option.
It is days like today that make living on the hill one of the best neighborhoods in America. One of my favorite days of the year with the Capitol Hill Classic this morning. And now Jazz at the library from some amazing students at @DukeEllingtonDC. Really special/talented kids.
I happened to be in the Senate buildings today and saw them. What a treat. American heroes! This is one of those things that makes living in DC special.
Honored to meet with the crew of Artemis II today.
From @NASAglenn to the 57 Ohio companies who supported the mission’s supply chain, Ohio played a critical role in Artemis II’s success.
@AlpacaOkinawa I love you my Japanese brother. However, barbecue can only be measured in pounds. Not europoor commie bullshit metric. Americans have no idea what a kilo is (unless they are coke dealers).
Palantir's Head of Vibes @eliano says "DC is an A-tier city."
"A lot of people want to put DC in the D-tier."
"I wouldn't put it at S-tier, but I do think it's an A-tier city."
His reasoning:
— It's on a body of water
— It has an international airport ~25 minutes away
— The metro system is clean and efficient
— It's walkable
— You get all four seasons
– It's diverse in terms of career opportunity
— It's a center of gravity for anything policy-related
— It's an international city
— There's a lot of great restaurants
— There are places to go camping or hiking nearby
— You can get to Europe in six hours
— Palantir has their 2nd or 3rd biggest office in DC
