@attila75 @Sevac10 @9NewsQueensland @JessMillward9 I guess the issue was during the height of Covid, the vaccine was widely held as being the best defence against the virus (wether this was correct or not, it was the best bet at the time) and for vaccines to have the best effect it relies on majority of the public getting it.

Everything the gov has tried in the past hasn’t really done anything to close the gap, so implementing a voice may be what’s needed.

Basically, when you look at what happened to the Republic vote in the 90s, people start arguing about how it should work rather than if we should have it, it distracts from the main question all together.
