I just heard the news of the passing of Steven Silberman - his book NeuroTribes is quite something, and he was very jovial and supportive when me and @soundscotland cheekily called our conference NeuroTribes

Speaking in @ScotParl Culture Secretary @AngusRobertson has re-affirmed @scotgov's commitment to support the culture sector with a funding increase of ยฃ15.8m to ยฃ196.6m this financial year, the first step towards an extra ยฃ100m annually by 2028/9.

It is revealing that lots of the immediate support offered to cultural workers as their income stream crumbles is mentoring, listening circles or support to scrabble together applications for what will be an even more competitive funding round.
