@WarintheFuture@abcnews ‘Almost all things are known, yet most have been forgotten.’ Fehrenbach. Reminds me of Lord Moran’s ‘Anatomy of Courage.’ Profound story. Please keep them coming.
@3BrigadeTSV@TalismanSabre Why we train? Readiness (now/future), Rehearsal, Relationships, Reconnaissance, Retention - and Demonstration of collective will and capability. All exemplified in this clip.
@ChasAHKnight Yes, it is an excellent training facility. We used it in July. You could readily fight two BLUE battlegroups (as part of a Brigade) in it for several days against a committed REDFOR practicing gruelling and unrelenting urban combat.
@3BrigadeTSV@WarintheFuture Wished I could have participated. We need to study this was as (more) intently than any potential adversary. Equally, we need to apply what we can learn from those ‘in the mud.’ ‘There are tigers in this world.’
@3BrigadeTSV Prime indicator of a professional military team: self-regulated learning. Well done 3 Bde. Realising immediate and enduring learning - the soldier/subaltern of today; the sergeant major/sub-unit commander of tomorrow.
