@DVLAgovuk - do you know when the ‘get vehicle information’ service will be working again? Currently when trying there is a ‘sorry, there is a problem with the service’ message.

Facebook swaps and sales pages are great and you can pick up bargain however, a large proportion of those advertising to take your waste away are not licensed to do so with the @EnvAgency and will fly tip your waste. By using someone unlicensed you run the risk of prosecution!

It’s been a busy day for #GrimsbyNorth. Started with a visit to the Registrars, target patrols, re-visits and inspections, CCTV location marking, ASB patrols in the afternoon followed by the seizure of a caravan and the recovery of a moped plus associated admin duties!

A very lucky owner earlier today. Their vehicle was almost #seized. Turned up just in time! Spoken to, document checks carried out and the bill paid. Turns out we actually did him a favour! All’s well that ends well. #GrimsbyNorthCommunityProtection

Today we almost dealt with the A to Z of jobs. First being an abandoned dog the last... a meeting with the great folk of @HelpStAndrews for a discussion on the process of welfare funerals carried out by @NELCouncil, what’s involved and how best both orgs can support each other.

A quick patrol on the Lincolnshire Wolds turned into a mini rescue mission. The local farrier appeared to be stuck in some mud! A quick heave-ho and muddy boots and we soon had him out! #TheThingsWeDo!

Attended a FDIP meeting today to discuss a case, to learn from it & how we can prevent serious injury & death. One thing I took away from the meeting was just how dedicated, skilled and supportive officers and staff are from @HumbersideFire. Some great #community work happening!
