@ianwood2011 Ah yes, brilliant read. Mine too was from a charity shop! Oxfam in Kendal is fantastic for that sort of thing. I got all of the Wainwright guides from there. Old ones too π
@ABIANDTOMS I love the humour in these 2 recent short videos! Best of luck for the up and coming season. I'm sure it'll be a busy one as long as we all keep safe and well.
@ianwood2011 @YouTube Hi Ian. That was a great short film creatively shot! I can't believe how quiet it looked at the Hospice. People in the valley obviously thought that it was a misty day - but only in the valley of course! I missed out on that by a few hours when I crossed over the top around noon.
@ianwood2011 Dropping down Lindale Hill this morning was a stunning sight Ian. With views to Yorkshire in the distance and rolling mist covered hills all the way back to the bay. What a sight!
@LivingTLOL That's a great post! I felt the tranquility you spoke of at the lake after your swim. Fantastic. It's a time to remember as it's very unlikely to be so quiet again. Thanks for the insight Julie. π
@mrs_walker214 Love that route. Avoiding Wetherlam edge is best as I never enjoy that scramble. Wetside edge is a chilled walk back with stunning views! Thanks for the reminder, as always, of what its like. π
