That's us! 🌍
The Artemis II crew captured beautiful, high-resolution images of our home planet during their journey to the Moon. As @Astro_Christina put it: "You guys look great."
Adm. Brad Cooper, the top U.S. military officer at @CENTCOM, sent this message to the roughly 50,000 U.S. troops directly involved in operations against Iran, I'm told.
NEW: Quinn and Jack Hughes say they were up late the night before their game against Canada, talking about how they were going to score a winning goal in overtime.
"That's what you dream about. When you're six years old, seven. I'm 24 now, I'm still dreaming that."
"This is the best moment in USA Hockey in a long time. And to be a part of this group, to do it with my brother, we've had such a fun couple of weeks... and we're just happy this is the way we finished it."

MIKE TIRICO’S ALL-TIME GREAT OLYMPICS SIGN-OFF:
“All the young people out there, those dreams are formed now. Go chase them, our country loves sports, it brings us together unlike anything else. And if you didn’t know that: you saw it in Team USA Hockey”
I don’t follow hockey, but this had me tearing up. They brought their teammate’s (who was killed by a drunk driver) kids out onto the ice with their dad’s jersey to celebrate the moment. 🥹
Our goalie decided we weren’t gonna lose today.. One of the greatest American sport performances of all time
🗣🗣 THANK YOU FOR STANDING ON YOUR HEAD CONNOR HELLEBUYCK

Robert McCray scores 22 of his season-high 29 points in the second half as FSU upsets Clemson on the road, 70-65.
The Seminoles have now won 6 of their last 7 ACC games.

Palantir just chose Miami.
Cue the predictable take:
“Florida doesn’t have the engineering talent.”
Cool. Let’s run the numbers.
Florida produces 89% as many engineers per capita as California.
Eighty. Nine. Percent.
That’s with:
• Zero Stanford
• Zero Caltech
• No 10-campus UC empire
What Florida does have:
• 7 R1 research universities
• $3.3B in annual research spend
• The largest aerospace engineering program in the country
• SpaceX. Blue Origin. Lockheed. L3Harris. Northrop. All building here.
Now the part nobody on Tech X wants to discuss:
Florida tuition: ~$6,500/year
California tuition: $14,000+
Florida income tax: 0%
California income tax: up to 13.3%
So let’s compare:
Cost to produce an engineer → Florida wins.
Cost to retain an engineer → Florida wins.
Engineer purchasing power → Florida wins.
That’s arithmetic.
The ROI per engineering degree in Florida might be the highest in America.
The people mocking Florida are arguing with a 2015 version of the state.
The 2026 version is building rockets, defense systems, AI companies and so much more.
You can keep the narrative.
We’ll keep the compounding.
🚨 BREAKING: US Air Force Thunderbirds just performed a STUNNING flyover above the Daytona 500 in Florida
NEVER gets old! That's pure USA, the greatest in the HISTORY of the world! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Today I announced the ‘Floridians First’ Budget, which will keep Florida on the course of fiscal responsibility and delivers on the priorities that have made Florida the greatest state in America.
Since I became governor, Florida has invested more than $1 billion in cancer research and treatment—a 114% increase.
Today, @CaseyDeSantis and I were proud to award $30 million in funding through the Cancer Connect Collaborative Research Incubator to four children’s cancer specialty hospitals: The Nicklaus Children’s Health System of Miami, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital of St. Petersburg, Wolfson Children’s Hospital of Jacksonville, and Nemours Children’s Hospital of Orlando. Each of these great hospitals will receive $7.5 million to further their innovative pediatric cancer research and statewide care infrastructure initiatives.
We are fortunate to have such an excellent network of children’s hospitals in Florida, and we’re committed to supporting their life-saving mission to better understand, treat, and prevent pediatric cancers so that Florida families do not have to leave the state to access world-class treatment.
Feels like I owe everyone an update. Just returned from my wife’s follow-up after her bilateral mastectomy. Procedure went well with no cancer in the lymph nodes & clear margins. I can't thank @BaptistHealthJx enough. Truly an all-around great group of professionals. God is good!
