Huge difference in seasons!
Last year 17th July barley kept getting sand blasted till mid august,
Vs this year lentils sown into standing stripped barley, Happy so far 🤞🏼

Ran out of time to apply manure before sowing, so giving before a rain post em a go.

@lingy_smith @HoolyMcg If its too thick fungicides dont really work, Grey mould can get going and thats nearly impossible to hold off, If your in soils that dont run to biomass early sowing is king. But in high biomass country it can lead to a very dissapointing harvest

Ill be very keen to see how mods go on it this year! Cant go any faster on canola or lentils as they are comb limited cereals will be interesting

@GribbleRC @markede05626239 @SunRiceFoods Well said. I do wonder how the jdvs the case being hydraulic drive rotor it seems to me cases plug alot more often in tough going. It would make sense as belts have a lower hp transmission loss. What have you noticed rod?

@KwMacdon @tobemcgill02 Helps holding them up off the ground, Some insulation to seperate them off the dirt for disease pressure, helps the paddock from blowing after harvest. Cant see any reason to burn the stubble unless there is a genuine reason 🤷🏽‍♂️

@CasFarmerCD @Ashley_Jacobs92 @BantrySeedFarms Was the 690 limited by the front? We got 21-25t/h on canola last year with very minimal losses on our 680 Could have got another 5t/h if the feederhouse didnt trip out would have been at max hp at that tho
