Benjamin Smith

Mildly amusing finance professional, husband and father. Kicked cancer in the balls.

@KayBurley @MattHancock Rules say pubs can only serve alcohol IF OPERATING AS RESTAURANTS... allowing a take away does not make them a restaurant - it makes them picnic area with beer. So stop being ridiculous. #kayburley #stupidquestion

@AscentAV @Sonos To be fair the hardware is up to 15 years old. Microsoft are no longer supporting windows 7 after 11 years. It will still work, just no updates!

[Benjamin Smith @Benny_Smith]

@neilmukerji Literally the first CD I purchased with actual earned cash. Not a proud moment but I actually do like the whole album!

@GaryLineker while you recover from #manflu can you help me recover from #mancancer and retweet this 😜

@NASA @NASA_ICE Don’t tell @FlatEarthOrg about this. They’ll try and explain how satellites work without a globe...

[Benjamin Smith @Benny_Smith]

@TraviataJones What’s there to think about? Who would you rather?

[Benjamin Smith @Benny_Smith]

@stopthenwo3 @Theflateartherz You clearly went to a shitty school...

[Benjamin Smith @Benny_Smith]

@JamesMDOS @neilmukerji The whole idea behind things like Uber and eventually driverless cars to to make the cost/mile of car ownership far greater than the cost of a service. People do (and hopefully will) actually like to drive and some cars are things of beauty that last longer than modern tech.

[Benjamin Smith @Benny_Smith]

@pas7272 @neilmukerji Residuals are high as demand is high and wear and tear should be less (other than batteries). Second hand Tesla is not much less than new. I’m looking at them too, but actually like the i3 for a little run around.

@jd101uk @JasonManford @Sonos Forms its own ‘mesh’ Wi-fi network so in theory if one has a good internet connection then they all do. If they are too far apart (if you have a mahoosive abode) you can get network booster boxes from Sonos too.

@richardpbacon Good luck with the recovery. I had an oesophagectomy back in Feb (good old cancer!!) and so now have TINY stomach and no appetite. Literally shoving whatever I can but also have PEG for overnight feeds. Gained about 4kg since the op. Stay strong.
