…if you are attractive, it helps to get your views across, especially to reactionary old buffers who otherwise ignore you. A tactic used in all media since…forever. @Socket1Sophie may or may not be aware of it, but look at most female broadcasters. Simple.
she knows what it is: “we respect and affirm people’s rights on sexual orientation” as a political campaign, in opposition to - “we don’t like poofs or queers, and Cameron was wrong on same sex marriage” which she knows is rife in the hearts of the older Tory base support?
@krishgm It'd be helpful if she clarified what political view a rainbow is signifying, and how it differs from the government's view.
Also, if a rainbow is a political symbol, surely a poppy is.

Because we all know intuitively (if not always empirically) the association between right wing politics and being anti LGBT is firmly established. The opposite is true. The rainbow flag/symbol establishes a political stance towards rights, it’s not neutral politically.
Just be aware, care plans disappear as gossamer into the wind without sound governance and robust finances to deliver them. Otherwise, they are like wish lists. That being said never stop being ambitious.

I suspect the ‘vote Starmer or get the Tories’ brigade don’t quite know how it works. Labour are Tory ‘substitutes’, brought on to hold the fort while the Tories re-gather and in time re-enter the fray. The two-past-the-post system gives the illusion of democratic options.
You mean the doctor who agrees with you?
I’ve just had an experience where two GP’s completely disagree over my own diagnosis.
Both were adamant that they were right………. They argued over my treatment and changed it.
The only one to lose out was me it seems.
Now I’m on with the original diagnosis and seem to be benefitting.
Good job I pushed back!
A recent systematic review, published in The Lancet Public Health, shows that the implementation of low-emission zones in populous cities in Germany, the UK, and Japan, have resulted in observable health benefits, particularly in the reduction of cardiovascular diseases.
