Over 1 million people are affected by floods in #Maiduguri 🇳🇬

In response, #UNHAS Nigeria has quickly established an 🚁airbridge to the isolated area of Muna, allowing the humanitarian community to deliver vital food supplies.

This week, #UNHAS facilitated an aerial assessment 🚁of the flood-affected areas in Maiduguri 🇳🇬following the overflow of the Alau Dam due to heavy rains.

The flight carried humanitarian partners, allowing them to evaluate the extent of the damage to plan aid response.
