The bill on the use of restraint and seclusion in schools is the result of over a decade on tenacious campaigning by Beth Morrison and others. It will bring guidance onto a statutory footing and give it the priority that it deserves.

As parents who have campaigned for transparency, accountability and genuine reform in Scotland’s education system, we welcome this long overdue independent review of the GTCS Fitness to Teach process, and are hopeful the recommendations are adopted.

@Heavy_Boab “the employer would appropriately investigate the matter” - how do they know that? In fact they know quite the opposite and have themselves said that trust in employers has been misplaced.
