When I shoot my personal work around the world I'm doing it mainly for my own artistic expression, but I always hope it will end up in print too. So delighted to see this portrait of Mai Anh chosen as a full page spread in the latest issue of Nat Geo Traveller Magazine.
I’m totally thrilled to be on the shortlist for this year’s Travel Media Awards alongside 4 brilliant photographers.
My entry was work shot on assignment for @natgeotraveluk and @ecuadortravel last year, featuring stories from the high Andes to the Amazon jungle.
I'm excited to be appearing at the Nat Geo Food Festival in London next week, doing 2 talks on the Sunday about my approach to Travel and Food Photography.

It’s a huge honour to be nominated among the finalists for the 2024 Travel Media Awards.
This is for a @natgeotravel feature I shot along with writer @benlerwill last year exploring the Carpathian Mountains of Romania.
@Travel_Up I’ve booked a ticket 2 weeks ago, I have the confirmation number, and I’ve never been sent a ticket. Customer service phone line useless. Flight is in a few hours. Never using your service again
Very proud to be interviewed in Outlook Travel Magazine this month - you can read the feature here.
Thanks Lily Sawyer for the write-up!

Excited to get another front cover this week - Front cover of Audley Traveller Spring issue with this long lens view of Dubrovnik.
Fond memories of this trip exploring the Balkans, we flew into Bosnia, continued overland through Croatia, Montenegro and into Albania.
Delighted to get the front cover of the next Lonely Planet guide to Sri Lanka. I remember using a LP guidebook for that trip back in 2019. Attached are a couple of other shots from that session, I remember wishing the fishermen used something less garish than the plastic bags!
Thrilled to see my photo from Penang used as a full page in this months issue of National Geographic Traveller Magazine. It's a massive motivation to go out and shoot personal work when I see it published on the printed page, especially in a title such as Nat Geo Traveller.
