@BenPWard@NIHRresearch Hi @BenPWard, participation in a clinical trial is not something that would be expected to lead to increased premiums or insurance refusal as it does not carry increased risk above that associated with the condition under trial. This is the first case of this we've heard of. 1/2

My experience is often that those working in healthcare know the system better, so can work it to benefit ourselves/those we know/our patients e.g. who to contact, what normal timescales are/when to chase up referrals. That's another ethical minefield, perhaps...
