"Spiritual love will speak to Christ about a brother more than to a brother about Christ." - Bonhoeffer

@gavinortlund Podcast just came out yesterday. It’s a powerful moment. He talks about wrestling with nihilism in college and how music convinced him of the reality of meaning.

[Ben Sansburn @bensansburn]

Listening to Jordan Peterson choke up talking about music with Joe Rogan and couldn’t help but think of @gavinortlund arguments in ‘Why God Makes Sense’ and elsewhere. Part of Peterson’s quote below (1/3)

“It puts you directly in touch with the meaning that sustains you in life. And it shows you what that would be, which is something like: To observe the harmonious interplay of the patterns of being stacked on top of one another and to bring yourself into alignment with that.” 3/3

[Ben Sansburn @bensansburn]

“It’s not amenable to rational criticism, which is the thing that struck me as so miraculous about music. It has this element of salvation. (2/3)

@derekhiebert Derek - this is awesome :-) What ideas do you have on distributing these? Some ladies in our church want to do the same, but thinking through how to best use them.

[Ben Sansburn @bensansburn]

@MattVossdaBoss Go to sleep! Missed you today brother!

[Ben Sansburn @bensansburn]

@JPintheWord @newlifenw @CBNorthwest I saw this yesterday and thought you'd be acquainted with it. Pretty incredible story.

[Ben Sansburn @bensansburn]

@derekhiebert True, but feels like as soon as GSW wants to turn it on, they do. Portland looks completely out of its league when the Dubs pressure on D and pass on O.

[Ben Sansburn @bensansburn]

@derekhiebert Sad but true. Getting outplayed in every phase.

[Ben Sansburn @bensansburn]

@WesternSeminary Blazers are gonna take it. Dubs are vulnerable.

[Ben Sansburn @bensansburn]

@derekhiebert Not looking good.
