On this day in 1947 (29/11/1947) the United Nations gave the Arabs living under the British Mandate of Palestine the chance to create a Palestinian State.

It would have been the first time in history that a state of Palestine existed.

But the Arabs said no - and began a civil war against the Jews - who had also been offered statehood.

The Arabs decided that stopping the Jews was more important than their own independence or statehood.

Within days of the UN vote - The Arabs had started murdering Jews on buses, in the towns, and on the roads.

The Arabs smuggled in arms and irregular armies - from Lebanon, Syria, Trans-Jordan, Iraq and Egypt.

For a few months the Jews were on the defensives - and it seemed as if the Jews would lose - but they didn't. In the end the Arabs lost the civil war - and Israel was declared an independent state on May 14 1948.

As the final British soldiers left - several Arab armies invaded the new state of Israel - but they also lost - with Israel surviving its war of independence.

The local Arab populations paid a heavy price for choosing not to accept their own state.

Over the decades they have tried to rewrite history and invented a 'Nakba' narrative which paints them as innocent passive victims of Jewish aggression. The real history remains very different. They wanted the war - they started the war - and they lost the war.

Since 1947 - they have chosen aggression over peace and statehood multiple times.

October 7 is just the latest reminder of why Palestinians still do not have a state - it is because all the money - ambition - and investment - goes into trying to murder Jews - and when given the chance - they kill as many as they can.

So on this day... it is worth remembering the true history. The Jews created their state because as soon as they had the opportunity - they grabbed it. The Arabs did not take the opportunity themselves - because they were more interested in murdering Jews.

You may have seen a massive police presence in parts of Sydney and Melbourne today and wondered what it’s all about. Today was the holiest day in the Jewish calendar and tens of thousands of Australian Jews walked to synagogues to be together, thank the Almighty for letting us reach another year in the Jewish calendar, and to pray for a peaceful and healthy year ahead. To do this safely, requires a massive police and security operation, barricades, street closures etc. because there are people among us who see Jewish families walking freely in the streets and feel a murderous hate. Today, in Manchester, England, in a community much like ours, where Jewish families walked to synagogue to recite identical prayers, someone acted on this murderous hate. Two British Jews are dead. We pray for their souls, their families and their community.

Grateful to all those who helped me survive the past week…

One quick night alone in Israel for an event turned into 8 nights trapped in a war zone.

Thank you to those who made me feel like part of your family… who made running to bomb shelters day and night bearable… brave soldiers who took me to impact sites so I could show the world… victims who spoke to me so I could share the reality on the ground… to the Foreign Minister @gidonsaar President @Isaac_Herzog Minister @AmichaiChikli and the @idf who met with me, interviewed with me, and enabled me to gain incredible access and insight… so that I could report the truth - thank you 🙏

And as always in these bizarre times - I will make it clear I was not paid a cent by anyone to be there or for my updates or work.

My fight is for all those impacted by terrorism - in Israel, Iran, Gaza and all over the world (including the West in ways we, terrifyingly, haven’t even seen yet) and it continues today.

I felt incredibly guilty leaving - It’s hard to explain 💔

This mission to take out the nuclear capability of a terrorist run state whose barbaric leaders chant ‘death to America’ and ‘death to Israel’ and follow it up with the killing of both - and many, many others… is not only crucial for the safety and peace of the world - but for the more than 80% of Iranians who suffer more than anyone under this evil regime.

Mass murderers who worship death - cannot have the capability to cause it on a scale only achievable through nuclear weapons… End of story.

The Islamic Regime of Iran funded and pushed for the horrific slaughter on October 7 that killed over 1200, resulted in hundreds of hostages - over 50 of whom remain in captivity - and caused the deaths of thousands in Gaza too. They started it all.

This military action is a gift to all innocents around the world. Stay strong all those on the ground!

Keep fighting for the hostages too - they must not be forgotten!

Following the completion of the identification process by the National Institute of Forensic Medicine in collaboration with the Israel Police, IDF representatives informed the Bibas family that their loved ones, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, have been identified.

According to the assessment of professional officials, based on the intelligence available to us and forensic findings from the identification process, Ariel and Kfir Bibas were brutally murdered by terrorists in captivity in November 2023.

During the identification process, it was determined that the additional body received is not that of Shiri Bibas, and no match was found for any other hostage. This is an anonymous, unidentified body.

This is a violation of utmost severity by the Hamas terrorist organization, which is obligated under the agreement to return four deceased hostages. We demand that Hamas return Shiri home along with all our hostages.

Ariel Bibas was four years old at the time of his death, and Kfir Bibas was ten months old at the time of his death. They were abducted with their mother, Shiri Bibas, from their home in Nir Oz. Yarden Bibas, Ariel and Kfir's father, went out to protect them and was abducted prior to the abduction of Shiri and the children. Yarden returned as part of the agreement for the return of the hostages on February 1, 2025.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Bibas family during this incredibly difficult time and remain committed to doing everything possible to ensure Shiri and all the hostages are brought home at the earliest opportunity.
