@katebevan An unexpected benefit of having our IoT devices on a separate SSID is that any backup only has to support our most important devices (laptops / tablets).

@katebevan When our internet / power fails (we are rural, the wet string often dries out a lot) I do the same with my phone hotspot (or a MiFi) to provide a backup connection.

@jesslynnrose I also had some success with NextDoor but I wouldn’t sign-up for it just for this purpose - it’s full of people complaining about parking and dog poo.

Also, even if you write COLLECTION ONLY at least 50% of people will ask you to deliver.
