Many thanks to Apple World Today for this great review of SecuritySpy 6, the new version of our macOS CCTV software: "SecuritySpy, one of the best Mac apps around, gets even better with version 6" https://t.co/BlSU3JfQrD

@MacDefender Let's take a hobby/home owner with an 8-camera system. After the initial 2-year period that provides free updates/support, it costs €54 for another year of support. When you factor in hardware and install costs, SecuritySpy is usually a minor cost of any overall system.

@MacDefender In order to stay in business as a software company, we need to charge for updates. We try to offer users good value, but of course we understand that there will be different opinions among users. Your opinion is valid, but not representivive of most feedback we have received.
@MacDefender A subscription is when you must continue to pay to receive the product/service. This is not the case with SecuitySpy, which never expires. After the initial free 2-year support period, users have the option to pay a modest amount for continued access to updates and support.
