over the past few months i’ve been obsessed with how ai + religion overlap

confession has always relied on a kind of artifice: architecture, ritual, and anonymity

and maybe chatbots aren’t so different. both can turn confession into reassurance, letting us feel resolved without necessarily changing anything

so i built a physical AI confessional booth

gallery attendees could kneel, press a button to record their confession, and receive their penance
