@Cover3Podcast@BudElliott3@Andrew_Ivins@247Sports What are we doing here?! We aren’t even half way through the season and taking about next season. Can we enjoy this year and see what happens before guessing on portal entries?
NEW: SMU's Rhett Lashlee tells @AndyAriOn3 Arkansas can't currently have the toughest schedule:
"No offense to Arkansas, they can't have the hardest strength of schedule in America to start the season because no one's played a game. We don't even know who's good, so we don't know what a good and an easy schedule is right now."
@secnumbersguy When the SEC was winning national championships, the narrative was: “The grind of the SEC prepares teams for the postseason.” Now that the B1G is the superior conference, the narrative has changed to: “SEC teams are too beat up to win in the postseason.” Funny
Oklahoma had to play:
8-5 Missouri
7-6 LSU
8-5 Tennessee
11-4 Alabama
9-4 Michigan
Indiana had to play:
7-6 Penn State
9-4 Illinois (beat Tennessee btw)
9-4 Iowa
13-2 Oregon
10-3 Old Dominion
Even including a G6 team from Indiana's OOC, Indiana still faced more wins and a higher SP+ average of opponent.
Not to mention, their end of the year SP+ strength of schedule:
Indiana: 1st
Oklahoma: 15th
I'm convicned some of the national media isn't even trying to cover college football.
Built for the loudest crowd in college football. 🔊
The new west side is on the way, and we already know the atmosphere is going to be next level.
