Eglinton Football Club are delighted to announce the arrival of Jack McAlpine.
Jack is the second new arrival for the 2024-25 season after leaving neighbours Kilwinning Rangers, where he starred in the West of Scotland Development League with the 20’s side.
Jack has also featured for the senior side from the bench on a number of occasions.
Co-Manager Dougie Taylor spoke with us on the new signing, “Jack is someone I know really well having worked with him for just short of two seasons at the Buffs 20’s.
During this time Jack went out on loan to a few clubs in the West and done really well in particular at Kello. During his time there I watched him most weeks and knew even back then he would make the step into adult football at a decent level seamlessly.
Jack is a box to box midfielder, that will bring loads of energy as well as quality. Once again like other signings we’ve made Jack is a real worker for the team.
At his age we have high hopes for Jack and we’re delighted he chose us as his first real step into the adult game.”
