I was a contractor at this trucking company for 15 years up until almost exactly 2 years ago. There is no possible way that Forward Air was unaware of this. This used to be a really good company

There's a few things that aren't mentioned in this article that grok found that I have insight on.

What caused this arrest was an investigation into the sexual battery offense and one kid had an STD. So between early May and August 6th, child protective services knew one of the kids was raped yet left the kids with those monsters an additional 3 months

The man wasn't a driver, she had a dedicated, drop and hook Atlanta/Miami. The Atlanta terminal inspects your truck when you check in. So 3 times a week, forward air inspected that truck and said nothing for 7 years.

In forward air's own statement, they described the driver as a "subcontractor" not a "Contractor" like I was. Meaning she was driving for a fleet owner, she didn't own that truck like I do. The reason thats important is because she couldn't control where or who did the maintenance and repairs or even how long she'd even be in the truck.

My point is, with all of those variables, alot of people knew this was going on for years and did nothing.
