I'm saying people didn't have the same visceral reaction to Vegeta during his "redemption arc" when he committed worse atrocities.

@macothe1st @Hercules1125_ I just don't understand why mass murderers are routinely allowed redemption among fans while sexually vile characters provoke rejection (even from outside audience), when both are heinous acts and, in my opinion, nothing is worse than mass killing.

@macothe1st @Hercules1125_ Vegeta killed unimaginable amounts for personal gain (irredeemable IMO!), yet the story treats him later as someone to be sympathized with and has a huge fanbase too. No one seems to really care about that either.

@laloalaw @Hercules1125_ My point is that it seems that most people who HATE this show haven't actually watched/read it....this blind condemnation leads to stories with characters who grow/develop from their trauma with good characterization getting shit on in a similar way (I've seen it happen before).

While I do think Mushoku T's characters are generally written badly (why did Lilia go back to Paul so easily after what he did?) (1)
