A year ago, on November 27, 2017, I inaugurated the National Minimum Wage Committee, with a mandate to recommend a new minimum wage for Nigerian workers. I am pleased that they have now completed their work, and submitted the Report. The entire nation is grateful for their service.
We remain focused on the 3 fundamental issues that we campaigned on: security, the economy and the fight against corruption. And will make up for the lost opportunities of the past, when we should have used our resources to focus on our transport, power and social infrastructure.

Today I received the attestation and confirmation of my 1961 West African School Certificate (WASC) Examination result, from the Registrar of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). It was also an opportunity for me to thank WAEC for upholding its integrity over the years.
Nigerians will enjoy free and fair elections in 2019. The President has only one vote, governors have a vote each, just like anybody else. Let the people vote for whoever they choose, without their will being tampered with. The era of awarding votes is well and truly behind us.
I had the great pleasure of chatting with @twitwiyarn yesterday evening on @Wazobia_FM. Thanks for the opportunity and I look forward to coming back when the campaign kicks-off proper to talk more in-depth. Well done guys.
