This is a generalisation, but just about everyone I knew wants to either sell/close their business and "get a job" / consult etc. This isn't a knee jerk to the current election, this is a response to being slowly worn down over policy and economy for the past few years.
Everyone has heard of "too big to fail" but today's environment has curated "too small to succeed".
In life you soon come to work out that timing is everything. It’s evident that the @LibertariansAus are early to the public 🗣️ discourse and that’s okay. It was extremely important to me personally to get Bitcoin on the ballot 🗳️ box in Australia 🇦🇺 this federal election and the @LibertariansSA did that too. I’ll never not be proud of the legislation that we @Dittloff4Senate crafted and then presented at @BitcoinAlive and first mover advantage will now always belong to us! As the debasement of the AUD 🪙 currency continues I know more and more folk will flock to our banner. The war is only in its opening stages 🪖
Personally I’m just going to console myself by HODLing a few more satoshi’s today. Enjoy your Sunday everyone 🤝🟧🧡🇦🇺💛
All Australian must stop the tax on unrealised gains. It is bad policy, unfair and illogical. It will negatively impact all Australians no matter who wins the election tomorrow. We must keep fighting for sanity and to block this legislation in the @AuSenate. @WilsonAssetMgmt will keep fighting for you all.
Every Australian needs to vote against taxing unrealised gains. It’s an unfair illogical tax the @AustralianLabor@AlboMP@JEChalmers desperately want.
They don’t understand the significant unintended consequences of taxing profits before they are made. We estimate the negative impact on the economy of $94.5b and the legislation will result in $155b moving from SMSFs to purchase tax free homes (ppr). This legislation is a disaster
@CroweDM@smh #Election2025
Taxing unrealised gains by @AustralianLabor is illogical and unfair. The Labor legislation has been block twice in the @AuSenate. We had written a 26 page discussion paper.
