Gently Fierce 😎

@worldemmycolle1 @LifeofAdunni Lol, they played rubbish for Carrick last season?

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@Risk_Mgt101 @MrOlibaba Yeah at least someone has a football knowledge here, most fans are just using emotions, that guy is not brilliant tactically

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@MrOlibaba Rebuild and Carrick doesn't align 2gether, he's not the right man for that, we cn't be in the phase of rebuild with trial and error at the same time, he's not tactically briliant for that, dn't compare him to Arteta, in a school there are many students, 1 is brilliant than other

CARRICK’S DOWNFALL

In terms of tactics and personnel, Carrick’s downfall this season comes down to these key points:

▪️the 4-2-4 press got figured out completely, and already last season it was the weakest aspect of Carrick’s tenure. Opponents freely luring & progressing through wide areas at will, no real attempts fo fix it for months now. Total lack of coordination, chemistry and basic understanding between the players, leading to mistakes in timing, intensity, shape, angles

▪️this season’s half-baked sttempt to increase in-possesion control backfired dramatically and led to a static, undercoached attack, not dynamic, not automated, not positional. @cirotexts refers to it as a static-positional approach. United lost the transitional threat and gained nothing in settled play, rendering us impotent when attacking both behind and in front of the line

▪️as one of consequence of this change, we stopped using Dorgu as the LW, which had a substantial negative effect: while clearly a limited player, he’s a rare width holder & natural runner in the squad, who provided a lot of balance to an unbalanced front line. The correct solution was to upgrade our wide options, currently dire, which is the club’s failure

▪️on his good day and when used well, Casemiro was a cheat code for team. His excellent quick progression abilities, positioning and especially set pieces dominance, as noted by @umirf1, have not been adequately replaced. His goals from set pieces were of extreme value in many tight games. Again, the correct solution for lies in recruitment

It’s an unfortunate situation. Carrick was failed in the market, for sure, but Carrick also failed with what he had at disposal, and failed severely. Both are true.

@SkySportsPL This one just yarning rubbish

[JAMES @JamesTactics]

Convince your loyal captain to reject £200m from Saudi by promising to stick with the manager and project.

Sack that manager months later, hire someone with no real CV, then drop your captain for analysing what went wrong in a 4-1 humiliation.

Quite something.

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@RedlingMUFC He actually changed his tactics if you really focus when watching football unless what you watch always is the score board

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@Footballtweet They have to protect their English bother 😂

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@fredyagun @OginiSolomon How many years ago? Football get advanced everyday brother, what worked in 2015 is not working today in football brother, that's why the coaches who make more research stayed in the spotlight, the ones that can't vanishes

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@GidiGambino That's where he got it wrong, but Utd fans mostly don't know about football and they are delusional, they want to win all football matches and want everything, did United look like a team who can keep possession for period of time?, they are profiles dat fit attacking ftball

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@buhari_mali @TouchlineX He's an English guy, what did you expect. When they were fighting for Mainoo, why aren't they fighting for Zirkzee too under Amorim, after all they are both slow, the English always fight for their own

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@tobyasky E go soon clear for your eye brother, the time is coming that you know that guy can't handle a big team yet, cos I need you to tell me the job of a coach, you think its just by standing on the sideline? You have to think better brother

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@SamuelLight97 @giddy_fx Werey no any big chances, possession based football, now you got the possession you should be satisfied since possession win the football match 😂

[LiveScore @livescore]

If Julian Nagelsmann is next in the Man United hot seat, the club will complete an 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 managerial cycle 🤯🔄

The former Leipzig and Germany boss is reportedly the leading candidate should Michael Carrick be sacked 👀

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@IbroOladimeji @MartienBall But what most people don't understand is that Carrick didn't actually use any tactics or system during his interim, he just make the line up and players get the job done by counter attacking futball which they are good at even they don't have a coach, nw he want to play his game

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@modx08 @MartienBall Because the coach is the one who brings the game plan idea not players, for example, the coach might said run straight and you do that and you get cooked, so it's that on you?

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@IbroOladimeji @MartienBall I don't know people are just shouting about players but the coach set them up tactically bad and made the look like bad players, his game plan and play couldn't even string up passes and they want the players to be convinced about his tactics but pple think this is street futball

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

Hmmm 🤔

[GGMU #carrickout @zeusGraham]

@ElijahKyama_ Imagine what would have happened if Carrick had experienced a fully fit Onana,Garnacho and Hojlund😭😭

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@ElijahKyama_ He is top 16, he just added 1 at the back of the 6 😂

[Vicki Benz @Benz_man147]

@brofootballtz @UtdMaI Formation that beat city, Liverpool lol, let's just agree for a second that it's now working, so the back 4 functioning properly right now ?, formation that won crystal Palace their FA cup, you are a joke brother, that formation is nothing compare to the problems
