Iran’s people were facing a horrible shortage of water before the war began. If we are destroying desalination plants and setting fire to Teheran we are committing unfathomable crimes.
Witzege Saz aus engem offizielle Paper vun der europäescher Zentralbank: "ECB research has shown that 72% of euro area companies depend on at least one of nature’s ecosystem services." -> déi aner 28% brauchen also weder Mënschen, nach Energie, nach e Planéit. Impressionant...

🇳🇴Norway - June 24 Update
🚗⚡️: 80%
BEV = 14,009
Hybrids = 3,154
ICE = 350
And no, thats not a typo. Norway had 350 singular ICE units in June 2024.
That's a handful of hardcore petrol heads, nothing more.
Norway keeps their BEV share at a very high level. They have hit the 80-20 level.
20% of work for the first 80%
80% of work for the last 20%
Don't quote the 80-20 number though, it's just known best under that phrasing 😉
I may start looking at their used car market soon, since that's probably gonna be relevant as well.
New registrations have told us a lot about what to expect in other countries, and I suspect the used car market will give similarly useful insights.
Germany imports:
100% of its Coffee
100% of its Chocolate
100% of its coal (not lignite)
98.2% of its oil
94.2% of its gas
BUT the 3% cross border electricity import of Germany - trade with close European allies - THAT is a huge debate these days. You can't make that up. 🤡
President Biden:
"For all practical purposes, today's decision almost certainly means that there are virtually no limits on what a president can do. This is a fundamentally new principle. And it's a dangerous precedent. Because the power of the office will no longer be constrained by the law, even including the Supreme Court of the United States. The only limits will be self-imposed."
Populisten hassen diesen Trick.
Der beste Ansatz, die Union zu entlarven: Man konfrontiert sie einfach mit ihren eigenen Aussagen von 2011 nach der Fukushima-Katastrophe.
Genau so wie @mesarosch das gemacht hat.👇
