And to celebrate the moment, I recorded a video with the CA!
This is gonna be legendary!
I think people are still looking at solana:3iUTyNYW6xKv5kZUjtbrEDTsuJTrSVwvB3bQtxkLpump like it’s just another short-lived animal meme that dies once the original clips stop circulating.
That’s not what’s happening here.
A roughly 3-meter female dusky shark (endangered) swam into the artificial canal at Busan’s North Port Waterfront Park on September 18. People started calling her Bukangi. She never left.
Two official rescue attempts failed. On the second one she cleared a 6.8-meter net on the high tide and swam straight back in. They eventually pulled the net. As of mid-October she’s still in there on day 23+.
She wasn't scheduled. She wasn't promoted. She simply appeared.
Now over a million people know her name.
BUKANGI. THE PEOPLE'S SHARK. 🦈
