Q. is there anything that left a lasting impression on you while filming your cover of ozaki yutaka’s “i love you” in a snowy landscape?

🧸 actually, i was really tired that day because i hadn’t slept and had been traveling since early morning. but after falling into a deep sleep on the train and waking up, i suddenly saw a white world spread out before my eyes, and it made me feel so happy. it had snowed so much at the filming location that if i walked a little and looked back, the snow had already covered my footprints to the point where they were no longer visible. i found that fascinating and fun. there were hardly any people around, so i really enjoyed being able to walk through as much untouched, pure white snow as i wanted.
actually, the video was originally planned to be filmed in korea when there was no snow, but i insisted on filming it somewhere in japan where it was snowing, and i made a rather demanding request to make it happen. ever since i recorded this song, i had been thinking, “i absolutely want to film it in japan, while the snow is falling.” just like with “suki dakara.”, when i really wanted to film somewhere with cherry blossoms blooming in spring, i tried my best to express imagery that suited the song.
