There's a new "Introduction to #PowerShell" module on the Microsoft Learn site!
... with some wrong answers in the knowledge check, but it's better than no module :)

If you don't know what splatting is, check it out! It's a big help in PS scripting.
Then, look at this new feature in #PowerShell 7.1 and rejoice that you weren't alone to have that feeling like something was missing from the splatting experience 🙇♀️
My favorite #Powershell 7.1 feature: You can now specify parameters to a command while splatting to override entries in the splat!

#PowerShell 7.1 should be available in Microsoft Store now, let me know if you have problems finding, installing, or using it: https://t.co/BJcUHk1x3R
(Reminder that this is separate from our `PowerShell Preview` app in the Store which is side-by-side with this stable release)
Does anyone know of a #PowerShell module or script to convert all <verb>-WMIObject and related commands in a script to their respective <verb>-CIMInstance counterparts?
Yes, I've googled it. No, I didn't find anything. Yes, it would be a lot of work. Yes, I might do it myself.
More HUGE news breaking out of #Build2020 - Windows Package Manager 'winget' finally arrives! Yes! A real, native, built-in Package Manager for Windows! YAY! 😜 Be sure to follow @DenelonMs for more info, and read his blog post 👇 https://t.co/MiH5qojWsE
Interesting observation.

I think a lot of companies are going to rethink their assumptions about physical premises.
It’s been two weeks, can we all agree to drop the pretense that “we all” have “so much free time” now? Everyone I know is stretched to the limits of their emotional capacity and/or is dealing with an increased workload, professionally and/or domestically. What is this free time?
New version of Secret Management (no longer Secrets Mgmt) module published! This addresses much of the community feedback from the previous preview release. This has breaking changes for extension authors. https://t.co/HqS3bVOC8r
Through the power of Pull Requests, the slide decks of last nights @bepowershell#BEPUG meetup are available in our GitHub repository.

Thank you to all attendees for sticking with us even when we kept going until way past 10pm! We hope you liked it!
Just in case anyone was wondering, our BEPUG meetup tonight will not be cancelled for reasons related to the Corona threat, or any other reason for that matter.
Should you decide not to attend, please inform us without delay so that we can adapt the catering appropriately.
