The funniest part is I’d been using that account since late 2023 / early 2024 and paying for it every single month. I still have no clue what actually triggered the ban.

I used it for my thesis, a bunch of different projects, and some of those projects eventually grew to over $100k/mo in revenue. There was a ton of work, context, and history tied to that account.

Then one day they just nuked the whole thing. And there’s basically no real support process either: you submit an appeal, if they reject it, that’s it. No proper explanation, no follow-up, no way to provide more context or dispute it further.

And from what I understand, once the account is banned, you can’t even properly export all your old chats. That’s probably the craziest part to me.

My Claude account was suddenly suspended after an “internal investigation of suspicious signals associated with your account.” No specific activity or reason was provided.

I run VPS/cloud infrastructure and work with networking, sysadmin, automation, code, security research and technical documentation. Claude is one of my main work tools for infrastructure troubleshooting, config/log analysis, coding and research.

I’ve already submitted an appeal and would appreciate a proper manual review of the account and some clarification on what actually triggered the suspension.
Happy to provide any additional context or verification if needed.

@1red2black Yes, I do use a VPN, but it’s a corporate one since I work with virtualization and hosting infrastructure.

Now the real problem: how am I supposed to compare power draw between different Xeons, send Claude a photo of a parcel and have it pull the tracking number straight from the label/QR, quickly figure out where traffic is going, automate QEMU VM monitoring, or throw together quick scripts to make my work easier?

That’s basically the boring everyday stuff I used Claude for. 😡
