@heinz_skip@Sesheldo1987@JasonOsterhoudt@TaytheMechanic@ToroGolf@TheToroCompany On old style cutting units with welded steel frames, the eccentrics were included because the frames would twist during the welding process. Skip is correct that loosening the side plates will address any inconsistencies as long as there are no issues with reels and rollers.
@JasonOsterhoudt@TaytheMechanic@ToroGolf@TheToroCompany It’s a nice feature if you have rollers that are showing some taper due to age. It also works well if you find yourself with a badly coned reel. The frame and tolerances on these cutting units are highly machined which eliminates the need for such items.
Between Long Island and New Jersey we hosted over 60 participants for reel theory and education. This is a continuous reminder of how proud I am to be part of company that puts education 1st in our industry. Special thanks to @StorrTractor for setting these events up!
@Canadianeh79 @RobertMarty46 Thanks for the suggestion. I’d prefer to train the operator who runs over sticks and rocks to sharpen the blades. I would question if they could run a mill. Delegate responsibility 😃 Its one less thing that the equipment manager has to do. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼👍
The Bernhard Rotomaster. It’s the only way to sharpen a balanced blade, every time. Who has time to sharpen blades by hand. Set it and walk away. It’s the best thing since sliced bread.
