As Ingrid’s day closes here, I wanted to say how heartwarming it has been to see how loved she was & still is. I’ve loved seeing everyone’s wonderful birthday tributes. 1st time celebrating with you all. I hope there are many more to come.

And so many more. Remarkable filmography. I also want to highlight Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1941) because her performance was perfectly mesmerizing. She stole the whole movie… and made it look easy.

@SAINTBERGMAN When I wasn't crying, I was slack-mouthed at Ingrid and Liv's performance. It always looks as if Charlotte was fit to burst and each word is pushed out, as if afraid of what it'd show and then the torrent when the dam isn't strong enough. What a way to end a career.
