The Qizqapan relief symbol of “Anahita,” and the logo of the "Alliance of the Iranian Kurdistan Political Parties."

The round decoration above the Qizqapan tomb has a central circle with 11 rays, each ending in a small half-circle. It was probably painted red.

This symbol likely shows the sun or the goddess “Ishtar-Anahita,” meaning the tomb is under divine protection.

It reflects Median religious beliefs, maybe linked to Mithraism, showing that the ruler buried there, possibly Cyaxares, had divine approval.

The tomb and its decoration date from the Median-Achaemenid period (600–330 BCE) and mix celestial symbols with burial architecture to show its sacred and royal importance.
