Iowa Hawkeyes soccer was nothing short of extraordinary last season, especially with the sensational play of freshman Berit Parten

The St. Paul, Minnesota native scored 7 goals and assisted 3, only playing in 54% of all minutes

Berit is a polished forward with a bright future☀️

✅holds the ball well to let mates get forward with her, quality link-up passing
✅active off ball making dangerous runs to find space
✅neat footwork, strong shielder, magical turns, and unwavering determination to win 1v1 in all areas of the pitch
✅loves to create for teammates when she does not have the advantage
✅defensive impact with pressure & work rate

How to Get Better
🧽first touches on longer/aerial passes
🧽winning fouls consistently
🧽dribbling decisions, keeping possession
🧽improving composure in front of goal (15+ goals potential)

In an uber competitive B1G Ten, having a talented forward who play-makes regularly will set the Hawkeyes apart
