At today's cycling lesson + picnic even more people learned to ride and more new volunteers joined #cyclingfriends for the first time. Learners came from Georgia, Syria and Bangladesh. Everyone is already excited about the next lesson on 21st July because #LoveWins
Sie werden ihn töten. Israel wird ihn töten. Ohne Anklage, ohne Prozess ist er seit über einem Jahr schwerster Folter ausgesetzt. Ein unendlicher Horror.

Before it is too late, raise the photo of imprisoned Palestinian doctor Husam Abu Safiya at #FIFAWorldCup matches and international events.
Hold up his photo. Chant for his freedom. Demand that he be granted the urgent medical care he needs.
A doctor from Gaza, Dr. Husam Abu Safiya paid a heavy price for fulfilling his humanitarian duty. Let the world hear his name. Stand with him, and with all Palestinian prisoners.
Do not let silence erase their sacrifices. Let the stadiums send a message that humanity, dignity, and justice must never be forgotten.
Share your photos and videos in support of Dr. Husam Abu Safiya through the platforms of the late journalist Anas Al-Sharif.

BREAKING (bones)
Why does "Bring Them Home" exist only for some hostages?
Because in Apartheid Israel, where only Jewish lives matter, brutalising the Palestinians isn't an anomaly - it is the system. And the silence around it is the exact measure of our collective hypocrisy.
I am gravely concerned by reports of a severe deterioration in the condition of Dr. Abu Safiyah.
We reiterate our demands for his release, along with all other doctors being held without charge.
This report is haunting even for someone who has documented the most horrific aspects of this genocide - which too many world leaders pretend not to see.
I commend the Commission of Inquiry for its effort to bring about accountability and make the truth accessible.
Day after day, people in Berlin take to the streets to show support for Palestine, raising their voices against injustice and occupation.

In Israel wurde kein einziger Mensch durch Beschuss aus Gaza getötet. Israels Militär mordet trotzdem ungehindert weiter in Gaza.
A small step, the smallest step, but it's a beginning.
Norway still has to answer this: how can a country that champions human rights, allow its vast sovereign wealth fund, one of the largest in the world, to invest in entities linked to an occupation the ICJ has found illegal?
Shame on the Basque police @ertzaintzaEJGV for brutalising Flotilla members returning home after being abducted, unlawfully detained and ill-treated by Israel. May those responsible be held accountable.
We must resist the Israelisation of our societies.
🇩🇪What happened to German legal scholars who once contributed to develop int’l law? Where are the think tanks/foundations that once drove debates on justice?
Fellow Germans: please wake up and help face the crisis your country is helping to shape at the heart of Europe. Again.
Dear fellow Germans,
if it were 1930s' and this happened to a Jewish person: would you behave like many of your compatriots at the time, ie do not care and even think that may be right? or, would you do like Hanno and strongly oppose it?
NEVER AGAIN IS NOT A TRIBAL SLOGAN.
"If anyone has survived this starvation,
it is this chicken.
She survived my knife through nine displacements.
Every time I reached for her neck, someone stopped me:
my wife,
Ayloul,
and Zein [my children], who found in his chicken friend something worth saving.
In a tent whose thin strips were colder than the hunger surrounding it,
she felt she was a burden to us—eating anything,
moving so lightly no one could hear her.
Even her clucking was faint,
and her gaze seemed to apologise for still being alive.
But what truly saved her wasn’t us.
It was the egg.
Every three days, she laid one egg—warm—
in a time when even a loaf of bread had disappeared.
We would divide it:
half for Zein,
the other half for Ayloul,
and I would postpone my hunger,
filling myself just by watching them.
And between one egg and the next,
a question circled in my mind:
Do I slaughter her, so we can eat for two days,
or keep her alive… so we can endure longer?
Even when my friend Hamed broke his arm
and needed any protein in this void,
I decided to slaughter her for him.
He looked at her for a long time,
then said:
“No, Malek… I can’t bear this guilt.
I won’t drink her broth… I won’t be the reason.”
In that moment, I understood:
we were saving ourselves from ourselves.
It was a test of the last part within us
that had not yet turned savage.
We could not bring ourselves to harm a chicken—
yet this vile world found it easy to abandon our children."

I have referred Sky News and GMB to Ofcom over disgraceful and baseless smears that have been made about me.
There is nothing antisemitic about supporting the people of Palestine.
I will continue to speak out against racism, apartheid and genocide.

Imagine these were two blindfolded Israeli women.
Imagine Hamas militants had taken this picture.
Imagine those women had then disappeared.
Imagine the deafening outrage and denunciations of Hamas’ evil.
So where is the deafening outrage here?
