Black Americans are and have always been systematically discriminated against due to racism. One alarming example has been in law enforcement, where black people are unjustly stereotyped, abused, and killed.

Health disparities are preventable differences in the susceptibility to disease, injury, etc. that are experienced by socially disadvantaged groups.
