The only privately funded & maintained public dog park in the City of Pittsburgh | Located at the Lawrenceville Riverfront Trail and 40th Street Bridge
The parking lot closest to the dog park will have some spaces taped off on Friday 10/22 during business hours so that large trucks can be brought in for planting work. Please park elsewhere.
Volunteers needed: Come help clean up the Dog Park and spread mulch on Sunday 10/24 from 9-11am. Bring a rake, mulch pitchfork & wheelbarrow if you have them and help maintain this community asset!!
Hello, my name is...well, I can't tell you because I'm not wearing any tags, but I do have a green collar.
Some nice police officers found me around 1:30 on July 4 on W. Carson St. near Glen Mawr.
Can you help get me home?
Info? Call @PghPolice Zone 6 at (412) 937-3051.
🚨 Due to the storm last night, the large side of the dog park is closed until further notice. Multiple large trees down or leaning, fence sections damaged. The small side can be used but don’t use the trail between the parking lot and park. Use railroad or 38/39th st.
Thanks to our amazing and dedicated dog park volunteers for beating back nature and whacking the heck out of the weeds that annually try to consume the park! It looks great!
Due to PWSA water work, the dog park is not accessible via 40th st. Please use the trailhead by 43rd st or near Bay41 apartments.
Also, please keep your dogs on-leash until they are inside the park. The trail is multi use and off-leash dogs are not permitted by City ordinance.
