"LeBron’s departure was offset by the Kessler and Grimes acquisitions. There’s a case to be made this Lakers roster is better than last year’s. This team is much better suited to cover for Luka's weaknesses while accentuating his strengths," per @liam_mckeone.
I’m so sick of basketball media when it comes to the Lakers because it’s always a damn if you do, damn if you don’t situation.
I genuinely can’t remember a season since maybe 2009 where the consensus was just, “Yeah, the Lakers are gonna be really good.” And they’ve had plenty of damn good teams since then.
Every year it’s the same cycle: if they stand pat, they didn’t do enough. If they make moves, they somehow lowered their ceiling. The goalposts never stop moving. Shit is insane.
From the latest @TheSteinLine substack:
“Cooper Flagg's known fondness for Marshall after their first season together as teammates is believed to be among the factors that Dallas considered when awarding Marshall this new three-year deal”
Also stated: Masai Ujiri is said to be a fan of PJ Washington

Bron Stan’s wishing Luka well in his recovery ❤️🙏🏾 so glad they took a break from getting to know all the equally classy Philly fans, to encourage him. Maybe Lakers fans should follow their lead and move on with grace🙏🏾
The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired two-time Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers in exchange for outfielder Zyhir Hope and right-handed pitchers River Ryan and Brady Smith.
Never forget: the same people saying "Tarik Skubal to the Dodgers would cause a lockout" are the exact same people who spent years saying the Dodgers were wasting all that money & assets just to lose in October. Funny how the narrative changes when the Dodgers start winning.
@diiana1893 Podes acreditar, agora o Galatasaray chegar primeiro aos 50 milhões por ele é outra história!😅
Não sei qual o plano do Farioli e do AVB para o Mora mas ele não sairá em saldo!
