I opine this $DXY #USD#Dollar is currently the single most-important chart which will affect global assets in the next 1-2 months. My gut says USD will retrace back towards circa 97-98 levels; hence assets & #crypto will rise higher correspondingly.
#ETH Price moving according to expectations. Next supt should come in circa 2800-2900 levels. At this stage, there is no reason to turn bearish as yet… unless we see a firm close below 2500. #Patience
#ETH Price remains sticky circa the 3500-3600 as highlighted in yellow zone. I will not be surprise if price eases a tad lower towards circa 2850 as we trade into tomorrow’s CPI fig. Buy dips.
#ETH Price met some resistance at proposed levels earlier and I think we are gradually moving into re-buy zones. 1st immediate supt at 3200, followed by 55MA (6hrly) at circa 3130. Previous breakout level at 3030/50 will be keenly watched. #TGIF#Patience#Ethereum
#ETH Resistance circa 3480-3500 capping it. 1st ST support 3200 levels; it should/must stay abv 3030 for another thrust towards 3840-3880 levels. Possible to see a couple days of consolidation/retrace; no signs of bullish exhaustion yet #Bullish#Patience
@TimmerFidelity With the highly levered economy coupled with Mid-terms coming up, Fed has no choice but to pay close attention to stock markets performance. The risk of hiking too much/quickly is that they may have to reverse even more quickly, if asset markets collapsed.
@SIGFxpro@RaoulGMI Anecdotally, Jpy tends to weaken into March fiscal year-end which (partly) explains the current price action in USDJPY. I can’t say for sure if JPY will strength in April but I know the risk rewards / probability of further JPY weakness in Apr are very much diminished now
US 2s10s basis merely 6bps away from inversion. Is Fed still gonna hike aggressively and push the economy into “recession”? Has the Fed forgotten about the 1994 episode where they had insurance rate cuts shortly after raising rates from 3.75% to 6%. We shall see..Time will tell
Its not a popular opinion but I think the inflation "war premium" might well get unwound and that will put the yield curve negative too.
The shock and horror stories of global food shortage also don't match with World ending Stock to Use (even ex-China). Near 20 yr highs...
CFTC positioning also showing extended shorts in 10yr UST notes. Whilst current levels are not uncommon, I opine that caution/prudence is warranted. #CFTC#prudence#MacroFX
The 1mth USDJPY25D riskies trading above Par level, which is a level not since seen Oct 21. Based on past observations, the riskies hardly stay above Par for extended period of time. This could be a sign of USDJPY looking stretched of late. #USDJPY#MacroFX
