One of the last pictures of 12-year-old Emma Brown and her father, 38-year-old Daniel Brown.

On the same day after the picture was taken, Emma shot her father in the abdomen before shooting herself in the head.

Daniel survived, but Emma died two days later in the hospital.

Emma had plotted to kill her entire family and pets in a 'murder pact'  with a friend.

JP Crawford is the one guy I felt had it in him at all moments we needed him. The guy we wanted to replace with someone like Trea Turner or whoever. He ended up being our best guy.

Had a chance but we didn’t do it.

It really sucks.

The good news? This team is building something special (hopefully).

We are young enough. We have some major changes to make though.

We have to be able to control our destiny and not make every season a half-good half-bad season.

I love this team always. I’ll always support and always be ready for next year.

But I will remember 2023 as one that hurts.

Thanks to everyone on here for making it a special year.

I love everyone in the Mariners community.
